These simple supplies can make a world of difference for a child heading back to school. This year, SHIM will provide school supplies to more than 1,500 students, helping them begin the school year with confidence and dignity.

Thanks to the generous partnership of Legacy Remodeling, we’re already halfway to meeting the need. With your support, we can make sure every child receives the essentials they need to succeed.

  • 70-count spiral notebooks

  • Pencil cases

  • Index cards

Register your drive here, then bring your donation of new school supplies to SHIM Center (2601 South Park Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102) by Friday, July 31 at 3 pm. Donations are accepted Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Need help?

If you need help with school shopping for your family, all are welcome to join our walk-up supply distributions. Distributions times are Thursday, August 13th from 10am-1pm at SHIM Center in Bethel Park, Friday, August 14th from 10am-1pm at SHIM Family Center (food pantry building), and Monday, August 17th from 1pm-4pm at SHIM Center.
