A recently completed large room lined with closets — storage that may seem like a banal detail — is a major achievement for South Hills Interfaith Movement.
Those closets mean more storage for toys, clothing and other items the nonprofit human services organization may need to serve the community, and the room itself can be utilized as a community gathering space for dinners and group meetings as well as a playroom for the family center.
And that’s just the power of one room.
