The Jewish Chronicle – Almost 1,100 volunteers did good deeds throughout Greater Pittsburgh by participating in the Jewish Federation Volunteer Center’s 15th annual Mitzvah Day. This year, Mitzvah Day volunteers served others on Dec. 24 as well as on the Volunteer Center’s traditional day of good deeds, Dec. 25.
