• You can make a gift to SHIM and receive tax breaks by giving through an IRA Charitable Rollover. It’s an easy and tax-free benefit that allows you to avoid taxable income by contributing to SHIM directly from your retirement account.
• You can also make a planned gift that will provide you with income by setting up a charitable Gift Annuity. You can make a gift to SHIM now, receive a tax deduction, and get fixed annual payments for life if you are 50 or older.
• Lastly, you can leave your legacy in the South Hills community by bequeathing a percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount. By including SHIM as a beneficiary, you ensure our ability to serve neighbors well into the future. It’s easy to include SHIM in your will or estate plan, life insurance policy, or retirement plan.
