Something is always happening at SHIM

Paul Bildstein, beloved SHIM volunteer, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2021. As a dedicated pantry volunteer for the last 5 years, Paul unloaded trucks and sorted food in SHIM’s Bethel Park food pantry. He also used his computer and analytical skills to assist SHIM’s development efforts by cleaning, organizing, and managing the donor database. Paul dedicated close to 1,000 hours to help his neighbors. We are very saddened by Paul’s passing, but incredibly grateful he chose to devote himself to helping the community in the South Hills. Our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends.
