Mt. Lebanon Magazine – Since March, the South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) has seen a 28 percent increase in South Hills residents seeking help with basic needs, and almost half of the people visiting SHIM’s food pantries are new—meaning they could really use your help. You can volunteer by helping with the after-school program, the food pantry or hosting a drive. And of course, donations are always welcome.
